From next week, we will be able to buy PlayStation 4 avatars on the PlayStation Store – indeed, it is a very weird move that Sony took exactly two years to get this on the table. What about those who already had PS3 avatars? No worries: they will be transferred over for free over the course of next week.
There will be a big variety – over five thousand avatars are arriving -, but there are some very weird ones in there. There’s a problem though: some of them didn’t really get some grammatical checking, just like the one below: it says Batter Late Then Never, when it shouls say „Than”. (After this, who exactly wants to pay two dollars for that avatar?)
Sure, we appreciate the avatar transferring, but there should be some other good additions instead, like the possibility of changing our ID, even if Sony says this is impossible to do so – hopefully the 4.00 firmware update, which Sony made a survey for, will have something related to this in the future.
