The resolution war continues between the two consoles, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One: this platform runs a game on this resolution, while that one does it on another. Most of the time, there are no differences, but not this time. There is a difference, when it comes to Just Cause 3, which will launch soon.
Avalanche Studios’ – who had to let go several employees a few days ago – game will have a higher resolution on PlayStation 4 than on the Xbox One. Sony’s console will bring us the 1080p resolution, while Microsoft’s will only be capable of 900p. Roland Lesterlin, the game producer talked about this to GamingBolt. However, he added that regardless of the platform, the studio is confident in their game, which will be a pleasurable experience.
But he didn’t talk about the framerate at all… would it be that the Xbox One will have a much more fluid framerate, just in a small resolution? Will the PS4 have a 60 or a 30 frames per second framerate? Will both consoles have 30? We don’t know about it yet, we’ll see on December 1, the launch day.
