Electronic Arts tries their best to expand, and they showed this previously several times. On top of confirming Jade Raymond’s Assassin’s Creed-style project (which is being developed at Motive Studios), they also try to create something different – they might succeed with Unravel, which was unveiled at this year’s E3, It has a cute, but still a likable visual style to it.
We can describe what we saw in this quite long IGN First video with just one word: serious. Although the game is a puzzle-platformer, it does have a story behind the tasks (uniting a family via the memories), while the soundtrack is quite nicely giving a good touch to the ambience. Yarny won’t have an easy time because it seems there are going to be difficult segments in the game.
The release date is still set to Q1 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, but the build shown in the video doesn’t look like an early one. Maybe Coldwood Interactive‘s game might see the light around the end of January.
The atmosphere in this game is incredible!
