Rainbow Six Siege: The open beta is now working, but…

Yesterday, we wrote about how Ubisoft‘s team-based shooter Rainbow Six Siege didn’t have its free, open beta launch properly due to connection and disconnection issues. (Because of this, we could have easily called the game Rainbow Sux Siege.) Thankfully, the French team quickly got on their legs and fixed the problems, which means there isn’t that much of a delay for the free beta.

Still, it’s going to be a bit shorter than originally expected. On all three platforms (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC), the beta will still end on November 29. However, the game didn’t get yet another delay, so the final version will still be available from December 1 in stores and on the PSN as well. No delays are required, so at least this is a positive thing.

Our editor team doesn’t have a one-sided opinion about this game, some of us think it will flop, and some of us say it might be just fine. Maybe fixing server problems now won’t be causing trouble upon launch.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
