When Unravel was unveiled during this year’s E3, it was an uncommon sight, but we managed to get used to it as time passed. Although its genre is a platformer, the game’s background story tries to make the protagonist Yarny‘s story unique – bringing a family back together through memories while we solve the puzzles. We believe this is something that we have never seen before, so Coldwood Interactive – the developers – are onto something very promising.
The game, which is going to be in a Northern Scandinavian setting, received a release date: it’s going to arrive on February 9, 2016, on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It’s only going to be available in digital format, so you have to get to the PlayStation Store and pay twenty bucks to get Unravel. It’s a very friendly price! We thought that this game is going to cost 30 or 40 bucks, so we are quite surprised by the pricing.
The trailer and the images are all very nice. It seems that we’re going to be in for a pleasant surprise in February!
