We already heard about how Tekken 7 will have PlayStation VR-support. However, Bandai Namco told us nothing about how it will work – they got caught red handed, though: silently, they trademarked Summer Lesson in Europe yesterday. (That means they didn’t need much time to be found, huh?)
The Summer Lesson virtual reality-project is led by Tekken boss Katsuhiro Harada. It started out as a tech demo developed by the Tekken team. In it, players can perform communication with a school girl in PS VR format. After the initial 2014 announcement, the 2015 E3 version cut back on… sexual overtones while keeping the communicating aspect of the original.
But wait! It was trademarked in Europe! That means Summer Lesson won’t stay in Japan, as trademarking tends to turn into results almost every single time. Maybe Harada’s side-project can become one of the PlayStation VR launch games? We’ll see whenever Sony finally decides to announce the PS VR‘s price and launch date.
