Sony is warning us way ahead of time that they will perform maintenance on PlayStation Network. It’s much better than to see the PSN stop functioning for 12 hours as was the case in early January.
The maintenance will happen on March 2, between 9:30 and 11:30 PM. Both UK and US time zones seem to have this time stated for the downtime. During this timeframe, PlayStation Store, PlayStation Video and Account Management will not be available. There’s a reason for the downtime: the 3.50 system update’s beta testing will also start in early March.
After this downtime, let’s just hope the PSN will not start the next month with another outage. After January and February, it seems to be a trend, isn’t it? Hoping for the best to not be annoyed with the network being unavailable. Isn’t it interesting that the maintenance is held just a week before The Division’s launch?
