No, we’re not saying that Nintendo is not welcome in our homes – in fact, the complete opposite is the situation – instead, we’re talking about the alleged leaked photos of the controller that surfaced about a week ago.
Ladies and gentlemen, the images we showed to you earlier this week were fakes! Those were none other than some serious Photoshopping and the product of a 3D printer, so those screenshots of the Nintendo NX‘s controller (or the console itself) will have to wait until they are officially revealed probably at the E3 this year.
Frank Sandqvist shows us step by step how they created the very realistic looking controller while admitting that due to the design, it’s very uncomfortable to hold the „controller” in your hands.
Will it be the final design, though? We can’t even guess if we had to try. Remember, the Wii was previously called Revolution until Nintendo rechristened the successor of the Gamecube a decade ago. Maybe the same will happen to the NX, too.
