SPOTIFY NEWS – The Great Escape has revealed more than 100 more artists who will play the Brighton festival this May. “It’s wonderful to be able to announce another 100 artists who will be taking part in The Great Escape 2016. We wanted to make sure this year’s line up was as exciting and as diverse as ever, championing emerging artists from as many genres as possible and I really do feel we’ve got something for every type of new music fan, no matter what you’re into.” – said Kevin Moore.
SG Lewis, Loyle Carner, Zak Abel, Thomas Cohen, Gilligan Moss, Izzy Bizu, Cakes Da Killa, Julian Jacklin, and Beasts are some the new artists on the bill. There will be over 450 performers across the three-day event. “The addition of our Young Adult wristbands for those aged 16–17, along with our Late Escape programming has opened the festival to new attendees and fans. I can’t wait to see everyone in Brighton very soon.” – Kevin Moore.
Festival-goers will be able to buy 16-17 wristbands, with special shows from Mystery Jets, The Joy Formidable, Dilly Dally, Shakka, and Lady Leshurr. The event takes place between 19-21 May, and three-day festival tickets are now on sale at £65.50.
