Another episode to The Lord of the Rings themed game?

In the autumn of 2014, a certain game came, saw and reaped awards, followed by a 2015 summer re-release in a complete form with all the DLCs included. However, this certain title is likely to get a sequel. Which game is it?

It’s none other than Monolith Productions’ Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. The Lord of Rings game (published by Warner Bros.) was decent… on the current-gen consoles and PC, at least. There’s a high chance of an upcoming sequel as a CV includes a certain „Shadows of Mordor 2” title. Lauren Mary Kim’s iStunt profile lists this unannounced game. Suspicious. It doesn’t seem like a typo, as the name is at the end of the list right after the Mafia 3 trailer…

Do Warner Bros. and Monolith plan to announce the game on E3 this year? The sequel would probably launch on PS4, X1 and PC because developing on a decade-old hardware wouldn’t make much sense anymore… We’ll see.
