Shadow of the Beast‘s PlayStation 4 remake has been announced for quite some time, but we still haven’t managed to grab Heavy Spectrum‘s game. However, the game might have received its final release date – the extra time was confirmed to be used to improve Aarbron and his gameplay.
The release date is set to be on May 17. That’s going to hurt us and our wallets because that would make Shadow of the Beast the third long-awaited game launch in just one week! May 10 has Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, May 13 (which is a Friday, no less) has id Software’s DOOM and Aarbron will return on May 17 with a 20$ price. May is going to be a heavy month, to say the least…
Developers took the time to target sixty frames per second, and they also focused on improve Aarbron’s combat system with artefacts and making the gameplay deeper. Hopefully, the gameplay will provide the same challenge seen in the eighties and nineties. If that’s done, Shadow of the Beast is half way there to succeed.
