Star Wars VII Actress And A PS4 Doesn't Mix!

While Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens’ Rey was a proficient scavenger and tinkerer, the actress behind her isn’t that knowledged, to say the least. Daisy Ridley admits that a PlayStation 4 caused her more trouble than what she thought it would.

In a Facebook live event, she got a question about whether she’s mechanically savvy as Rey is or not. To respond, she shared a story. „Last weekend, I got sent a Star Wars PlayStation. I was with my friends, and I was like, ‘Oh my god, I know what I’m going to do; let me plug in the PlayStation. I had no idea how to do it, so I looked online; looked it all up. Plugged it into the thing; it didn’t work.” Ridley gave up here and didn’t come back to the PS4 for a week. The next weekend, a friend of her – that was with her last time as well – came over. „She came over again, and I was like, ‘I wish the PlayStation would work!’ And she was like, ‘I bet you put it in the wrong socket.’ It took her two seconds and then it worked, and I’m like, ‘You could have said that last weekend.’ It proves that I am in no way mechanical or technological.”

We wouldn’t be actors, though – if that happened, we would be the reason Star Wars VIII would tank!
