Beavis & Butthead might be familiar to you if you were a 90’s kid. The two idiots – really, how else could we describe the two teenagers? They are likable guys, though – received video game adaptations, but there’s one version that we haven’t heard of.
There was also an arcade cabinet version that quickly failed. Thankfully, Galloping Ghost Arcade managed to restore the B&B duo’s lost adventures. Their initial thought to fix the game started from a displayed 3DO logo that was on the screen if the game was reset. It turned out that the 3DO console used the same cable that GGA needed to fix the game. „Taking the drive out and just connecting it to the PCB did not start the drive properly. So we put the drive back in the 3DO and let the Power go from the 3DO to the drive and the data cable go to the Beavis and Butthead PCB.” – their post says. This smart move resulted in the game launching without any problems!
How does the game run? You can see it in the video below.
