We have already known for a long time that Respawn Entertainment isn’t developing the mech-shooter Titanfall‘s sequel as a Microsoft-exclusive. It was officially announced that the Xbox One, PC and the PlayStation 4 will receive Titanfall 2, which has now received a small teaser.
Will be heroes or not, that is the question. Titanfall 2‘s official reveal date (we have to get used to this terminology…) is set to June 12 – this day is shown in the teaser, too. On that day, we’re probably going to work our asses off due to the insane amount of announcements and reveals during and before E3 (which happens between June 14 and 16, we get a ton of screenshots and trailer before anyway). In the video, we see a capsule of a very generic named soldier James MacAllan, plus a Titan that slices us the logo in the end. It’s risky to be a hero, to say the least.
We don’t know when the game’s out, but Electronic Arts wants to see Titanfall 2 (with a proper single player campaign!) out in the business year of 2016, aka by the end of March 2017.
