We have already seen Mirror’s Edge Catalyst getting a three-month delay, but Electronic Arts and DICE have decided to pull another delay yet again despite being a bit more than a month away from the release. Come on, let’s hear it, how much is Faith getting delayed this time?
DICE pushed back the launch date of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst by two weeks. Is this going to be some stupid trend? Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has done it already, as well as the new Sherlock Holmes game. Think about it: this is the sad trend of two-week delays. This delay means the new release date in North America is June 7, and the European one is June 9 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, respectively.
The delay is because DICE wants to implement feedback from the closed beta that starts tomorrow. The new Mirror’s Edge will have time trials, leaderboards, and apparently these will use brand new technology.
Let’s not hear any more delays, shall we?
