After Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain launched last autumn, many players moved on from Konami, who admittedly turned towards mobile gaming after the departure of Hideo Kojima and the closure of Kojima Productions.
Still, the Western audience is going to get a game on consoles this year!
PES 2017 „will reach new heights of realism and fun,” raising the long-running series “to a whole new level.” The target this year is „the fun in playing against another player.” New mechanics will come, like „Real Touch”, or „Precise Pass”.
The game is out this autumn for PS4, PS3, X1, X360, and PC – will it focus more on microtransactions? Will it have a free-to-play version? We’ll see: reveal at 2016 PES League World Finals, more info at E3.
