The stronger PlayStation 4 will likely to have a newer DualShock 4 controller in its box.
At FCC, Sony filed a trademark for a controller with the model name CUH-ZTC2. We have to point out that the original DualShock 4 is CUH-ZTC1. The number two means that the controller is possibly getting an update shortly.
The new controller has the same weight, the same power supply voltage and battery amperage as the previous three iterations registered by the FCC. However, the Bluetooth antenna is a difference. Going by the leaked images, there may be two iterations under construction. The first one would receive new buttons under the D-Pad and the X/Square/Circle/Triangle buttons, and the second one would see the D-Pad/buttons and the analog sticks’ positions swapped around, and the round-shaped speaker would be put in the middle.
Sony is probably going to update the classic shape DualShock – when will it happen? We don’t know yet.
