Capcom is happy to see that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard‘s demo has over two million downloads on the PlayStation 4.
That’s not all: the demo (called Beginning Hour)m that threw away almost all action elements from recent Resident Evil games, has become the most successful demo on Sony‘s console. Still, there are still questions that need to be answered – for example; there was a finger in the demo that seemed to have no function. We now know why. Capcom recently sent out an Ambassador email (this program is similar to EA’s Battlefield Insider), where they also sent an image. You can see this picture below. It says „About a certain finger… the path, for now, is closed, but patience…”
This clue means that Capcom will update the demo (!), making us go back to it later. Clever – mind you, Kojima’s PT was debunked in mere days, although Silent Hills will not be finished.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will launch on January 24 on PS4 (with PSVR-support), X1, and PC.
