A Video Documentary. Oooooh, someone is clever at 343 Studios, combining the two genres into one name!

Still, the developers have put together a length (over 4.5 minutes long) video about Halo Wars 2‘s story, allowing us to get to know the characters a bit more. The humanity’s crew is waking up after 20+ years of cryosleep, and they discover a beacon on The Ark. They have to investigate the dangers that lie below. In the Story Vidoc, there are two opposing leaders from both sides of the battle: Atriox, a super brute equipped with as much brain as brawn, will lead a splinter formation of the covenant called the Banished against Captain Cutter, who will lead the Spartans on an impossible mission.

Halo Wars 2 is out in the Xbox Play Anywhere program on February 21, 2017. The PC beta will happen in the next few months at a so far undisclosed date. Seeing how the X1 already got the beta during E3, it’s about time the other platform gets its turn.
