At QuakeCon, Bethesda has said a few positive comments about the PlayStation 4 NEO.
The stronger PlayStation 4 model, which is rumored to be revealed on September 7 in New York, is probably already in Bethesda‘s hands in the form of a devkit. Pete Hines, vice president of marketing at Bethesda, has said the following: „I think that kind of stuff is great. I mean, having more robust hardware is … We’re big fans of it. What that does for us, I mean, right now it’s all talk, right. They [Microsoft and Sony] are not out, and we’re still early days on it. It remains to be seen exactly what impact it has.”
Hines also said that the better hardware gives more freedom for the developers, as they can get much closer to their original ideas with their games.
Take-Two and Electronic Arts are also supportive of the stronger consoles.
