Infinity Ward lost their mind – you might think that after watching the latest Call of Duty trailer…
It’s not a joke, though: what would you say if you saw breakdancing zombies neon lights in a 1980s-themed amusement park while Frankie Goes To Hollywood is heard in the background? That’s what we will get with Zombies in Spaceland as part of Infinite Warfare.
Here’s the plot, quoting the official press release:
„Zombies in Spaceland tells the story of four aspiring actors who come upon a mysterious movie theater for an audition. They’ve been invited by director Willard Wyler, portrayed with voice and likeness by Paul Reubens (Pee-wee’s Big Holiday, Gotham), who was once the shining star of the horror genre. Unbeknownst to the actors, they will be transformed into characters and transported straight into Wyler’s film to fight against waves of zombies in a space-themed amusement park set in the ‘80s.”
Four characters, all stereotypes: a Valley Girl, a jock, a nerd, and a rapper. They are voiced by Seth Green, Jay Pharoah, Ike Barinholtz, and Sasheer Zamata.
Did the game get inspiration from Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and Hotline Miami? We’ll see on November 4 when the game launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Oh, and PS: David Hasselhoff appears as a character!
