UPDATE: A smaller PlayStation 4, an updated DualShock 4 – all weeks before the official reveal?
Somehow, ZRZ managed to get a PlayStation 4 Slim, which turned out to be a legit console. Yesterday, we saw proof of it being turned on, validating the existence of a smaller PS4 in another way outside Wall Street Journal.
Now either Sony screwed up somewhere, or – and this might be possible – some retailers already got stocks of the new PlayStation 4 model?
ORIGINAL: This PlayStation Meeting gets stronger as we get closer to its date – and we’re still more than two weeks away from it happening!
The Wall Street Journal writes that sources familiar with this subject say that a new base PlayStation 4 model, as well as a high-end version is going to be presented to the public on September 7 in New York. The latter type is the PlayStation 4 NEO, but what about the other model? However a video was uploaded not long ago with the said PlayStation 4 Slim in action. Take a look:
There have been some leaked images of the PlayStation 4 Slim, and they look fake. However, a Twitter user by the handle of shortman82 ended up showing multiple screenshots of this alleged Slim model. He could easily silence the doubters by turning the machine on. All we know is that the HDD by is on the right side of the console. That’s not a lot.
After the PS4 Slim, how will the Vita („Trinity”) will look like, if Sony will make a newer version of the handheld?
Also, what do you think of the first images of the redesigned DualShock 4?
