Battlefield 1 will not skip out on DLCs (continuing the Electronic Arts tradition), and we learned a thing or two about them.
First of all, we would talk about the season pass, which is called Premium: it will cost fifty dollars, and it will provide four DLCs (or map packs, to be more exact). The first one is called They Shall Not Pass, and it will also bring the French army into the game in March 2017. The four DLC will contain four new maps each. Premium will also provide a two-week early access to maps, new Elite classes, and weapons as well. Players will also receive dog tags and Battlepacks. One of the later DLCs will bring in the Russians as well.
There’s also an Ultimate Edition of Battlefield 1 for 130 dollars. It will net you the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition extras and the Premium Pass. This edition will launch three days early, allowing you to jump into combat on October 18. (Pay more upfront to play early.)
The Early Enlister Deluxe Edition will cost 80 dollars, and it will give these items:
Red Baron Pack containing:
- Vehicle: Red Baron’s Triplane
- Sidearm: Red Baron’s P08
- Emblem: Red Baron’s Flyer Pin
Lawrence of Arabia Pack containing:
- Horse: Lawrence of Arabia’s Black Stallion
- Weapon: Lawrence of Arabia’s SMLE

It also allows you to play three days early – October 18 instead of October 21.
