Duke Nukem Getting A New Game Shortly?

It’s time to kick ass and chew bubblegum… and I’m all out of gum. – We might hear this classic quote shortly!

On the franchise’s official website, a countdown surfaced with a text that says „Happy 20th Anniversary!” The problem is that it’s not Duke‘s 20th birthday – his first game dates back to July 1991. Maybe it’s related to Duke Nukem 3D… but that game launched in January 1996, so it’s not exactly fitting.

The countdown is for PAX West, which will start on September 2, and we’re just a week away from it starting. Gearbox, the owner of the Duke license, will also be present, and they have „never-before-seen reveals, exclusives, and surprises” planned. Perhaps the macho with sunglasses will get a new game announced? Is Duke Nukem 3D coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One?

If it’s going to be a new game, hopefully, it won’t be developed for one and a half decade like Forever was…
