Mortal Kombat XL, which is essentially Mortal Kombat X with the two Kombat Packs, is now heading to a third platform after the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
It’s a surprise, but Mortal Kombat XL is going to launch on PC. Remember, Warner Bros. and the PC don’t mix well – Batman: Arkham Knight’s initial launch was so bad that the game ended up being recalled from store shelves.
To win the trust of the PC-owners, the publisher offers the game for free during the weekend in the form of a beta test until Sunday, 10 AM PST. Until then, the game can be called „Mortal Kombat XL Enhanced Online Beta”. (MKXLEOB?)
NetherRealm’s game’s Mortal Kombat XL edition will allow PC players to take control of Leatherface, Bo’Rai Cho, and the Xenomorph from the Alien movies – these characters are part of the second Kombat Pack, formerly exclusive to consoles.
