Batman: Return To Arkham Got A New Release Date And A Side-By-Side Comparison! [VIDEO]

Virtuos looks to have the technical issues solved.

In the early days of the summer, we heard that Warner Bros. assigned Virtuos to make a current-gen port of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One utilizing Unreal Engine 4. Back then, it seemed that Batman: Return to Arkham could hit the shelves by the end of July, but Virtuos, the team behind Heavy Rain’s PS4 port, as well as Final Fantasy X/X-2’s PS3/PS4/PSV ports, ran into technical roadblocks. Warner decided to delay the collection indefinitely.

They now announced a new release date: Return to Arkham launches on October 18. We can see a comparison between the PS3 original(s) and the updated PS4 version(s). The current edition looks like the PC version with some mods, but some models look a bit worse. (We have to point out the Joker.)

Return to Arkham will contain the complete versions of the games, so all the DLCs will be included as well.
