We’re just weeks away from the arrival of the PlayStation VR.
On October 13, both Sony‘s headset and RIGS will be available for purchase. Sony expects this title to become competitive enough to enter into the world of eSports, but we will have to wait to see if Sony can pull that off or not.
The pilots in their mechs (not in a Titanfallesque manner!) will dictate a fast pace, and as this game will be in virtual reality, an obvious question pops up: can we play RIGS without making our eyes and hurt? Getting the ball isn’t an easy task and the gameplay doesn’t answer the question.
The other video is from Twitter: PlayStation‘s account introduces six skills to us. The Vampire Ability allows players to steal energy from their opponents to gain power. The Knockout Ability punches the enemies and disables their power for a short period. The Engineer Ability scrambles enemy radars as well as healing other teammates. The Nuke Ability makes small explosives and causes massive damage on your enemies. The Thief Ability makes you hidden on enemy radars to take the ball. The Carapace Ability gives you a damage absorbing shield.
