Square Enix‘s JRPG joins the list of games that will make use of the extra horsepower under the just released PlayStation 4 Pro‘s hood.
The latest, Japanese-language Active Time Report stream had an announcement: the PlayStation 4 Pro patch is coming in December, and it will offer two modes for Final Fantasy XV, according to Siliconera.
In case you don’t own a 4K television, you can choose to run the game at 1080p, sixty frames per second. If you have one, then you can go for 4K resolution at thirty frames per second. We don’t know yet if the resolution will be native or upscaled. Hajime Tabata, the game’s producer also added that the current frame rate is between forty and fifty frames per second, but they still have time to reach 1080/60.
On the Japanese PlayStation Store and Xbox Live, a new demo was released. The Judgment Disc allows players to play up to the midway point of the first chapter.
Final Fantasy XV is out on November 29 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
