Watch Dogs 2’s Sales Results Are Disappointing

What a significant drop compared to the first installment!

In the United Kingdom, Watch Dogs 2 wasn’t able to dethrone Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, according to GfK. This is a massive surprise, as Infinity Ward’s shooter has had a 46% week-on-week drop. While we don’t know exact sales figures, the NeoGAF forum users counted: Ubisoft‘s new game got around 80.000 new sales on launch week.

We didn’t use the „significant drop” term without reason: Watch Dogs had 380 thousand (!) sales in its first week. The sequel got less than a quarter (!!!) of that!

Here’s the entire top 10 from the UK. The podium is complete with FIFA 17.

  1.         Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
  2.         Watch Dogs 2
  3.         FIFA 17
  4.         Battlefield 1
  5.         WWE 2K17
  6.         Forza Horizon 3
  7.         Dishonored 2
  8.         The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition
  9.         Grand Theft Auto 5
  10. Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection
