For 180 dollars, you have to provide the best content. Capcom pulls it off, although it might be a tad too much.
Capcom only plans to launch this Collector’s Edition in North America, which might be a disappointment for European Resident Evil fans. The box will contain items related to the locations and events of the game:
- Resident Evil 7 biohazard Base Game
- Mansion Music Box (8″ tall) that plays a sample of Aunt Rhody with accompanying LED effects
- Dummy Finger 4GB USB drive
- Exclusive metal case
- VHS tape box
- Exclusive lithograph
- Creepy note
- Premium packaging
We don’t understand why Capcom only makes a 4 GB USB drive. For this price, expecting something bigger should be the norm. At least they will give you the game, which other collector’s editions tend to slowly avoid for no good reason…
Resident Evil 7 launches on January 24 on PlayStation 4 (with PSVR-support), Xbox One, and PC.
