True story: you can end up in prison for cheating…
PC Gamer writes about how South Korea, where Starcraft is in the blood of everyone (without a joke, the best players are from that country), it is now a crime for creating online hacks or sharing them with other people in games such as the previously mentioned Blizzard title!
Aimbots (like in Counter Strike: Golden Offensive, or CS: GO as most players call it), wall hacks, or anything that is not allowed in the games’ Terms of Services, can earn you either a 43.000$ fine or up to five years in prison, says PVPLive.
Valve (DotA 2, CS: GO), Riot (League of Legends), and Blizzard (Starcraft, Overwatch) can now hope to see fewer cheaters in the Asian country, where eSports is widely popular.
