Swery Opens His New Studio

SWERY65 returns after three months of silence.

Back in October, Hidetaka Suehiro (aka Swery) has announced his departure from Access Games. The creator of Deadly Premonition and D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die returned, and meanwhile, he opened his new studio.

The slogan of Osaka-based White Owls is „From Osaka to all of YOU around the world!” They are already working on their first game, but we don’t know what it is going to be. The about us section of the studio is interesting. Taken from the site itself :

„Do you need more weird content? White Owls is prepared to give you the unique content that you’re looking for, which you won’t be able to find anywhere else. […] In Ancient Greece, owls were called sages of the forest and thought to be servants of Athena (Minerva), the goddess of wisdom. Their eyes can pierce the darkness, and their ears can hear sound in 3D. Their wings allow them to silently catch their prey, and their powerful claws can effortlessly tear through even the toughest of bodies. There is also an Albino species of owl clad in sheer white fur which possesses an especially mystical quality. We at White Owls hope to keep growing until we can someday evolve into a similar type of mystical entity.”
