Super Bowl LI: Did Electronic Arts’ Simulation Prediction Win? [VIDEO]

Electronic Arts had their prediction done before Super Bowl LI.

Super Bowl has become a massive show in recent years, and the special, exclusive advertisements during the NFL finals has become profitable. Electronic Arts tried to ride the waves as well.

The Madden series is a quite successful franchise overseas, and that explains why EA Sports has a simulation of the finals. The company took the latest installment (Madden NFL 17) and let New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons duke it out in their simulation. The result? Patriots were initially losing, but the team turned it around and won 27-24.

What about the real result? Patriots were losing out big time, but eventually, a turn-around happened, and after overtime, Patriots took the cup with a 34-28 result. EA’s guess was right, which wasn’t the case last year.
