You won’t have to play the game alone.

Cyanide’s new game got a brand new trailer, which shows how you can play through the game’s story with a friend, as Styx: Shards of Darkness will come with a drop-in/drop-out cooperative function.

You can „open up” your game at any given point, but it has a negative effect on the gameplay: playing cooperatively doubles the risk of getting spotted by the guards. It means you will have to coordinate your actions together, or you will both die in no time – confrontation is not going to work here!

Work together to create elaborate distractions, or unleash dastardly synchronized assassinations – every level and mission is playable in co-op and will open a new array of gameplay possibilities.

There’s not a lot of time left until the game’s launch. Styx: Shards of Darkness will arrive on March 14 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC after multiple delays.
