Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice – Myths And Madness [VIDEO]

Ninja Theory‘s new game got a new developer diary with a little more obscure topic.

Hellblade, which we have been waiting for a long time, now shows how the psychosis and the Viking mythology affected the game’s world during its creation. It also mentions how the Celtic warrior Senua, who suffers from trauma and mental illness, kicks some ass. We get to see a decent portion of the design process, and for a good reason: the game is still far from completion, although it can now be played through from start to finish.

The game is in alpha state, but Ninja Theory is going to move on to the beta phase, which should happen shortly, as Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is planned to release in 2017 on PlayStation 4 and PC. The two years of hard work seems to be paying off for now!

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
