Bioware‘s game will not avoid DLCs, but the question stands: will we have to play for them?
We don’t know the situation about the single player (seeing the publisher, Electronic Arts’ mentality, though, the answer is probably known), but with multiplayer, Aaryn Flynn has confirmed on Twitter that „just like in Mass Effect 3” (we quoted the developers’ general manager there), there will be free DLCs.
Mass Effect 3 received several free expansions after its release, including the Earth DLC which added 3 new multiplayer maps, and the Retaliation pack which added treacherous environmental hazards to six existing maps, making those levels themselves killers.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will launch on March 21 on PlayStation 4 (with PS4 Pro support), Xbox One, and PC. Until then, have a look at two new IGN First videos, where they are now focusing on the exploration of vast worlds, as well as the Nexus.
@DJSrules @N7Follower @DiscoBabaloo It’s going to be just like ME3
