The war on Middle-Earth continues in the sequel to Shadow of Mordor!
Warner Bros. Games kept their promise, and they indeed revealed gameplay of Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, which got quickly confirmed after Target (perhaps intentionally?) leaked the game. The video isn’t even a shorter, two-minute fare, but a sixteen minute, detailed presentation.
Talion takes the fight to Sauron, and to succeed; the improved Nemesis system could help us become victorious. In the video, you can see how Talion attacks a fortress in Seregost, which avoids showing off the open world, and that feels awkward on Warner’s and Monolith’s (the developers) end.
Of course, you won’t win going solo – get a powerful army of Orcs as well, and with the new Ring of Power, and some strategically placed sleeper agents, it can be easier than before. The players’ strategy could provide some replayability.
Shadow of War is out on August 22 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You’ll be able to import your save from Shadow of Mordor, too!
