The stealth continues in just a few days.
Cyanide already gained attention with the first Styx game, and the sequel seems to be improving the franchise enough to elevate it a higher level, helping the publisher, Focus Interactive, too… although they also have another hopeful game, Dontnod’s (Life is Strange!) Vampyr in progress as well.
„Players will take control of agile goblin thief Styx, as he assassinates, sneaks and snarks his way across an immense, dark fantasy world filled with deadly secrets and enemies. Watch the game’s lively launch trailer for a taste of Styx’s abilities, quick acrobatics, and even quicker tongue,” the press release says. The plot is revolving around a goblin, a mysterious human, a scepter, and a large amount of addiction-causing substance.
Styx: Shards of Darkness is out on March 14 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. (It’s interesting that a launch trailer is almost two minutes long, while FlatOut 4’s „gameplay trailer” isn’t even half as long as this video is…) The video breaks the fourth wall!
