Hidetaka Miyazaki is working on other titles that might appeal to us.
The president of FromSoftware, who is also the director of the Dark Souls series, has told Famitsu that now that Dark Souls III‘s final DLC, The Ringed City, is available, they have no plans to return to the franchise whatsoever. (No Dark Souls VR for you!) Miyazaki also admitted that he couldn’t implement everything that he wanted to see in the games, but he still considers Dark Souls a blessed series despite each episode having their unique flaws.
He also said that he is working on multiple new titles that could catch our attention, and FromSoftware doesn’t seem to be concerned whether they will resemble the Dark Souls series or not.
We wouldn’t be surprised if they end up announcing their next game during E3 in June…
