Maybe we don’t have to wait until E3 to see Microsoft show us the console.
Jez Corden, who’s a senior editor at Windows Central for Xbox, has shared a few intriguing thought about the rival of the PlayStation 4 Pro console. You might easily say that it’s no more than another April Fools joke, but he clearly stated that he isn’t joking. In fact, he said that the Redmond-based company might show the Scorpio as early as next week!
He says that devkits come with a nifty LCD that shows developers a few statistics in real time, and it even has a little animation as well. (Why did Jez talk about this is beyond us.) The Project Scorpio might get Bluetooth-support as well, but its promised specs (8 CPU cores, 320 GB/s memory bandwidth, and 6 TFLOPS computing performance – the PlayStation 4 Pro has „only” 4.2 of it).
WindowsCentral seems to be a reliable site when it comes to Xbox-related leaks and information, and they say that the „flagship” game during the presentation would be Forza Motorsport 7, but Red Dead Redemption 2, Crackdown 3, State of Decay 2, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Madden NFL 17, FIFA 18, and this year’s Call of Duty, possibly called Call of Duty: World War II, would all also be shown in 4K resolution. We’ll see.
It’s true that Project Scorpio is going to be shown off very soon.

Scorpio dev kits have an LCD front panel that devs can use to see stats in real time too, pretty cool.

@xLUSTx naw, everything I’ve tweeted is not April Fools, except for the idea Microsoft will care about Windows Phones again
