PC Players Dig Bayonetta

The success is important for PlatinumGames.

Bayonetta’s PC port launched a week ago, and according to Steam Spy, Hideki Kamiya’s hack’n’slash game has over one hundred thousand sales, which is a success for something that is over seven years old. Remember, Bayonetta came out in the West in early 2010 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3!

The decent sales can help PlatinumGames to see multiple games, such as Vanquish, or maybe even Anarchy Reigns, to be ported to the PC in the future. Last week, we wrote about how more of their games can receive PC ports, and it’s depending on the publishers of their games. SEGA seems to be supportive of the notion (they were the publisher for Bayonetta after all), so the first signs are promising. Good sales shouldn’t be just wasted.

Let’s wait to see how this story rolls out.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
