Farpoint Has Gone Gold [VIDEO]

Don’t write down the PlayStation VR just yet.

Impulse Gear‘s game, Farpoint has gone gold, according to the PlayStation Blog. It looks quite promising so far, and it will also likely gain attention for using a new controller, the PS VR Aim Controller – in other words, it is going to utilize a pistol.

„On a mission to pick up scientists studying an anomaly near Jupiter, a sudden rupture nearby sends you and their station crashing onto an unknown alien world. Separated from your colleagues, you must use holographic logs scattered throughout the landscape to reunite with the scientists and escape the planet,” the plot synopsis says. Sounds a bit cliché, but maybe the gameplay can make up for that.

Farpoint will be available from May 16.
