The German car brand enters the fray.
Previously, it was confirmed that Polyphony Digital’s Gran Turismo Sport is going to include Porsche cars, for the first time in the history of the franchise. The „King of Endurance” – we’re not saying that about the brand, it’s Gran Turismo’s website – will now be officially in the game without a tuner brand, such as RUF in GT2. (Until now, Electronic Arts seems to have had the license, as Need For Speed 4 in 1999 already had a Porsche 911, and that is just one example.)
Seeing how Kazunori Yamauchi, the head of Polyphony, is also a committed racing driver, participating in the Nürburgring 24 Hours marathon, the game’s physics should be top notch later this year… if Gran Turismo Sport does end up becoming available in 2017, exclusively on PlayStation 4.
