Pillars Of The Earth’s Game Adaptation Dated

Ken Follett’s book, becoming a video game? You read that correctly – we got new details about Pillars of the Earth.

Daedalic hasn’t said a lot about the Pillars of the Earth game adaptation recently, but they now let their mouths run for a while, which we appreciate. The game is going to be a 2D point-and-click title (that’s not something you often see nowadays…), and it will launch in August on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The original, 1200-page novel has been turned into a three-book fare (an „interactive novel”) with seven chapters each.

The developers try to recreate the 12th century England with over 200 hand-painted backgrounds, and the orchestral soundtrack will be recorded by Prague’s FILMharmonic Orchestra. There will also be two extra playable characters on top of the three protagonists.

How much will this game cost?

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
