Before the official reveal, Ghost Games has said a few tidbits about this year’s Need For Speed game.
Let’s start by the thing that could have been a turn-off for a lot of people in 2015’s non-subtitled Need For Speed. Let’s face it, leading a hard race without the ability to pause or suffering a minor internet outage that boots you back to the title screen is not a good feeling, to say the least. Well, the developers were glad to say in their blog post that you will be able to play through the single player offline and the good old Pause menu is coming back, too. You can now take a coffee break between two corners.
Customization will play a pivotal role in the new Need For Speed – we don’t know any details, but the fact that you will be able to tune your car’s visuals and performance to your liking is a pleasant thought. Cops will also make a return, and there’s one more thing that we need to quote: „you’re going to want a world that not only looks beautiful but offers you the space in which to do the things you want.” Huh.
More details will be revealed at the EA Play event.
