Rice Digital’s information was legit – the two veterans in rhythm-based games are working together!
Project Rap Rabbit, which already has a website, has been confirmed. It is being developed by NanaOn-Sha’s Masaya Matsuura and iNiS’ Keiichi Yano, both having a huge history in the genre. Matsuura was previously behind titles such as Vib-Ribbon and Parappa The Rapper, while Yano handled Gitaroo Man amongst others, making both of them knowledged.
Currently, we only have this teaser video of the project, so aside from the probably rapping rabbit and a gigantic frog, we can’t say anything significant about it at the moment. It’s probably going to be developed for PlayStation 4.
We only hope that it is not going to require a Kickstarter. More details are „coming very soon.” (Next week? E3?)
