Dontnod has confirmed the game’s existence – no more rumors!
With over three million paying players (that’s what they said on the website!), Life is Strange has been a large success, and in the autumn of 2015, it ended on the same day as Tales from the Borderlands with a decision that could have shocked most of its players. However, the celebration is on the way: the team that has worked on the first game is now doing the sequel, and even though they will not show anything at E3, maybe they could show Life Is Strange 2 at Gamescom in August.
If that doesn’t happen either, it’s fine: Dontnod is now working on the action-RPG Vampyr, which Focus Home Interactive wants to release at the end of this year. Sometimes, you just need time to make something, although a spark of inspiration can make quick work successful, too.
Life is Strange 2 is probably in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and it was rumored to get new characters.
