Blizzard: World Of Warcraft’s One Key Personnel Redirected

Brian Holinka stops the WoW. Wow, pardon the pun.

Holinka announced on the Battle.net forums that his previous work at Blizzard, namely, the lead designer for the PVP content in World of Warcraft, is ending. He says, „a few weeks ago, I was offered a new opportunity at Blizzard that I’m excited about. Tomorrow is my last day working on World of Warcraft. As a longtime player, I couldn’t be more excited about what the future has in store for World of Warcraft. In particular, the PvP team remains hard at work on some incredible plans. I fully expect that the best years of World of Warcraft PvP are ahead of us.”

Something serious is getting prepared at Blizzard. In April, the lead designer of Starcraft II was moved to another project, and now, Holinka is following suit to an unnamed title. Knowing how Blizzard almost always releases outstanding games, we shouldn’t be disappointed in the future.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
