Michel Ancel didn’t want to disappear after E3.
Therefore, he decided to bring out the game yet again, which we saw at the end of Ubisoft’s E3 press conference – that time, we just saw a CGI video, which is understandable due to the early stages of development for Beyond Good & Evil 2. The game was presented to the press behind closed doors, but since E3 is now over, Ancel thought it would be a good idea to show the in-engine tech demo to everyone on the Internet. (We still silently pray for the PlayStation 4-exclusive WILD, which might have silently been killed, but who knows?)
Beyond Good & Evil 2, a prequel to the first game, has no target platforms and release date yet. It may launch by the time the next console generation arrives…
