Sledgehammer is giving the game mode a darker tone than Treyarch and Infinity Ward.
In Call of Duty: WWII, Zombies will be called Army of the Dead, which is going to be officially revealed at San Diego Comic Con. When that event happens, we are coming back to the game to have another look. You might ask, though: why is Army of the Dead darker than previous Zombies iterations? Well, Sledgehammer was founded by former employees of Visceral Games, makers of Dead Space. In the video (which isn’t a final version!), you may also experience the change, which is more than just going back to the past. We can appreciate the breath of fresh air (?), although one of the commenters have called this mode none other than Outlast 3.
Call of Duy: WWII is out on November 3 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
